Implementing PLF in commercial products is a procedure with several steps
Define the objective: e.g. I want to measure the distribution of my broilers
Select the proven and commercial PLF procedure to realise this objective. (The EU-PLF blueprint website might be very helpful)
Make a good contact with the technology provider that you are in the driving seat and decide on what data can go out to whom and when
Get familiar with the installed PLF system. That will take some production cycles. It will allow you to understand your animals better
Develop a daily management method to use the information and the feedback from the PLF system
