Introduction
After a short information about the location of mixed and specialized systems in Europe, this unit will present an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of mixed systems as well as opportunities and threats for their development. This SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis was conducted in 5 European countries in 2012.
