Presentation of the compared case studies
5 CS are studied. In each of them we have compared ccopperating farms with non-cooperating farms, these farms showing an integration between crops and livestock or not.
Ebro Basin (Spain) : local exchange of manure for straw
Cavan (Ireland): local exchange of grain for slurry
Domagné (France): provision of high quality forages through a cooperative dehydratation facility
Winterswijk (the Netherlands): land exchange between dairy and arable farms
Thurgau-Grisons (Switzerland): animal exchanges (heifers) between lowland and highland regions
