Perform your own SWOT analysis
To summarize all the steps and decide on the feasibility of PLF tools implementation on farm, you may perform your own SWOT analysis by identifying factors that are positive or negative attributes to describe your project :
- internal factors and data are completely under and within the control of the farmer who can decide how to utilise them for farm organisation and animal care.
-external factors and data are beyond the control of the farmer.
Opportunities and Threats reflect the potential of the implementation of your project on the farm. They depend on the activities of the food chain actors, the extent of the need in other farms, the feasibility to develop those new technologies, the marketing strategy, etc.
This should be performed before prior to the development and implementation of tools on farm.
